Diseases can be difficult to film villains. They are invisible and it can be run by anyone, making them particularly insidious and unnerving, and we have a congenital disease fear, or murderers as the plague of AIDS or the annual flu season discomfort. But you cannot fight a virus, as if it were a psychopath with an axe, which is why so many movies turn infected monster has disease or after post-apocalyptic pandemic are focused on the world.
New film infection, the first few weeks if a new virus sweeps the world, kill the infected in a matter of days. But what makes the virus infection is so unique and powerful is the villain only briefly.
