Gregory Lee


Gregory Lee Jr., sports editor of the Boston Globe-Assistant and member of the sports press publishers linked since 2004, is running for President of the National Association of black journalists.

Electronic voting began on 3 June and ends on 5 August.

Lee, who is linked to the apse NABJ since 1994 and 1996, he is co-director of the Institute for journalism and Treasurer of the NABJ Sports. Also, he served as Secretary of the Association and its sport seats of task force.

"Over the last 14 years, I have the privilege of serving, and a variety of things in participation in management positions, experience," said Lee. "They know first hand how the NABJ can reach their full potential." "I've experienced the good and bad times."

NABJ, as other minority journalism organizations struggled out of the recession with a solid financial basis. The Association has recently decided to withdraw from the unity: journalists of color: an alliance with the other three journalism associations important minorities-better financial protection.Lee was a member of the decision-making process.
