PBS characters to promote reading Friday at Orlando Public Library

Italian detective Aurelio Zen debuted on PBS Masterpiece Mystery! "Series of" Zen "in the early hours of Sunday, July 17th. Played by British actor Rufus Sewell (" Middlemarch, "" The Pillars of the Earth "), Zen is not a typical crime solver PBS. It is more like James Bond Poirot -. dark beautiful Italian-cut suits, pleasing to the eye in a sensual, casual, how it fits into the landscape as comfortable as beautiful Roman statue by Michelangelo.

Not that we increased our share in the prosecution charming and seductive seen in the "Mystery" series. Inspector Morse (John Thaw of the deceased) was crushed in the mature mind of the woman with his literary bent and a love of opera and crossword puzzles. In a similar way, Commander Adam Dalgleish (Roy Marsden, Martin Shaw), a widower-poet with unique intensity, the brain.

For those who loved them very well-trained police officers, there were no Inspector Lynley Thomas (Nathaniel Parker), Earl of Asherton 8, with his patrician good looks and a very nice car. And in recent times is not filled Kurt Wallander (Kenneth Branagh), the melancholy, a Swede with too few elements to set the category of hot-detective.
