At least 2,500 are without power in northern Cook County and the Wisconsin border. An additional 78,000 people in the western region of Illinois were without power.
In Chicago, 500 people are without electricity.
ComEd, an official said there are over 450 sections of the crew members to repair the storm. The timing was not given to electricity would be turned on.
