How does a cell in order to distribute the newly synthesized molecules in the places where they are needed? A study in the journal Nature Cell Biology by researchers French and Portuguese to help them discover the answer to the description of a molecular mechanism for the distribution of new molecules, a discovery that has implications for the treatment might have on public diseases as diverse as cancer and Alzheimer's. The document identifies the lead molecules, the deformation of the Golgi apparatus
- the structure of the cell responsible for the final processing and transport of molecules - that the creation of small tubes and vesicles that transport molecules to their destination. The work is Claudia Almeida, Hazel Evelyn and his colleagues at the Institut Curie in Paris, France

Only recently, the Golgi apparatus is found, an autonomous structure, which together with the fact that many cancer patients have problems in this structure, questions have raised about his role in the development of cancer, and evidence of growing dysfunction between the Golgi apparatus to neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's, led to a renewed interest in the cell structure.
