Victoria Junior College student Sophie Chew was awarded in 2010, Angus Ross.
The Angus Ross Prize is awarded to the best performance in the GCE A-level exams in November of literature in English of a candidate outside the United Kingdom and is open to all candidates (excluding the UK), with different A-Level Literature in English language programs at the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) tests.
A spokesman for the University of Cambridge International Examinations, said: "The Cambridge Angus Ross Prize is open to students worldwide, and one that a student has gained in Singapore - an impressive achievement."
The Angus Ross prize winner will be looking to by a group of auditors, among other criteria, selected the maturity of thought and brilliance of expression in the texts students.
